Lamar Odom is going, going, back, back to Cali, Cali. The NBA player and reluctant reality TV star has been traded to the Los Angeles Clippers by the Dallas Mavericks in a four-team deal that will send guard Mo Williams to the Utah Jazz.
The Mavericks also will create their own trade exception worth $8.9 million by shedding Odom’s contract without taking any salary back.
Dallas also received the draft rights to forward Tadija Dragicevic from Utah and cash considerations from the Houston Rockets. The Clippers sent the draft rights to second-round pick Furkan Aldemir to Houston.
Lamar Odom started his career in the NBA with The Clippers when he was drafted by the team No. 4 overall in 1999. He averaged 16.6 points as a rookie and 17.2 points in his second year before leaving for the Miami Heat in 2003. He played there for one year before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, where he won two championships. Odom was then traded to the Dallas Mavericks.
We’re sure that his wife Khloe Kardashian will be happy he is back in tinsel town. I wonder will he still be doing reality TV?
