Another person has came forward with sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby. Former supermodel and “America’s Next Top Model” judge, Janice Dickinson, has revealed that an incident occurred between her and Cosby. She sat down with “Entertainment Tonight” and talked about the blurry evening.
“The next morning I woke up, and I wasn’t wearing my pajamas, and I remember before I passed out that I had been sexually assaulted by this man.” Dickinson says the incident occurred in 1982 where she was going to speak to Cosby about a possible role on the classic sitcom “The Cosby Show” and met him at Lake Tahoe. She mentioned that she was in rehab and said she remembered “a lot of pain” from the alleged incident and was “embarrassed and ashamed” about it. Dickinson also stated called this one of her “biggest regrets and resentments” in her life. In a book Dickinson released back in 2002 entitled “No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World’s First Supermodel,” she references an inappropriate encounter with Cosby but does not give any details.
Cosby has yet to respond to any of these allegations, and even remained silent during an interview on NPR’s Weekend Edition where he was questioned about the accusations. Cosby’s lawyer, John P. Schmitt, released a statement this weekend advising that Cosby would not address these allegations:
Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment. He would like to thank all his fans for the outpouring of support and assure them that, at age 77, he is doing his best work. There will be no further statement from Mr. Cosby or any of his representatives.
