This just in – Lil Wayne has been rushed to the hospital following a freak skateboarding accident. Seems Lil Tunechi crashed hard while skateboarding in St. Louis last night. He had a severe wound over his left eye and got 9 stitches to sow it back up!

In other news, Lil Wayne will be dropping his new album Carter IV following the MTV Video Music awards. As soon as midnight hits, you’ll be able to download the album on ITunes. The album is being released earlier than expected and the hard copy will  drop the next day.
