Last year the ticket broker, Tickets of America, and White Glove International filed a lawsuit against Lil Wayne and his manager Cortez Bryant for unpaid tickets to several big name sporting events.
The lawsuit claimed that Wayne purchased tickets from February 2013 to June 2015 to different events including Super bowl XLVII and the Floyd Money Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao bout but failed to pay for the tickets. It was also reported that Wayne attended several basketball and sat at the courtside level. The lawsuit didn’t name Lil Wayne but it listed his label and Bryant as defendants.
The judge in the case gave Tickets of America a deadline to provide documentation of the purchase of the $119,400 worth of tickets. Unfortunately for them, on January 27 the judge declared that they broker missed the deadline and then dismissed the case against the Young Money captain.
Maybe now that another distraction is out of his way Wayne can get back to working on getting the Carter V released.
