The NBA may be in a lockout but that didn’t stop Sacramento Kings forward guard Marquis Daniels from hosting his 5th Annual Celebrity Foundation Weekend. The main event for Saturday was kickball which took place at his old stomping grounds Edgewater High School.
Boston Celtics Rajon Rondo and Tony Allen also added to the star studded event. Rondo tweeted about the success of the kickball game stating “Of course we won. 7-3”.Â
Josh Howard of the Washington Wizards also showed up to the event as well. Howards recently celebrated a celebrity weekend basketball game that took place in Dallas this past June.
Female biker Dystany Spurlock (right, below Chanita Foster) also attended the event which was geared towards giving back to the community. Marquis Daniel’s foundation Q6 is a non-profit organization that focuses on giving back to under privileged children.
VH1’s Football Wives star Chanita Foster was spotted at the event having a blast. She tweeted afterwards “whoever was in this kickball game should stay in the shower a minimum of a hour. lol”. From the looks and sounds of things, it appears that things got dirty!
