Mary J. Blige rocked the Democratic National Convention Thursday night. The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul played two songs for the packed crowd in Charlotte, North Carolina. She opened with her song “One” and then told the crowd to get on their feet and get “crunk for President Obama.”
The 41-year-old singer then turned it up to play her hit song “Family Affair” to the crowd. Afterwards Mary said she was “so blessed” to be able to play at the DNC and stated her desire to see President Obama re-elected.
