This week, rumors swirled that two new women would be joining VH1′s reality show, Hollywood Exes. Who? Mashonda, the ex-wife of Swizz Beatz (the two had a very public break-up in 2008 after five years of marriage), along with Alexis Phifer(who is a fashion designer) who is the ex-girlfriend of Kanye West. The pair dated on-and-off since 2002 and ended their relationship in 2008. Kanye would then move on to Amber Rose and now his latest girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

Initially, the site MouthToEars reported the story, but since they have retracted with a statement from Alexis, disputing the rumor as reported by thejasminebrand.

“MouthToEars reported yesterday that the fashion designerand singer Mashonda are in talks to star in their own reality show charting their life since splitting from their famous former beaus, and were even discussing the prospect of talking about their relationships in a book. However, the website spoke to Alexis this morning and she claimed neither she nor Mashonda have ever had discussion regarding the said projects.”

Mashonda also disputed the rumor:

“I am not doing anything nor would I ever talk about someone that I loved at the time.”

To me, they only fit in the realm of Love & Hip Hop. The standard on Hollywood Exes is set way too high for women like these two. They should go for someone more like the exes of Martin Lawrence or Mick Jagger. Maybe they can do Real Housewives of ATL, I heard they are still trying to fill 2 spots. @Biggibenzo
