Swizz Beatz’s ex-wife, Mashonda Tifrere, is ready to give a glimpse into her life by way of a non-scripted show. Tifrere will draw from true life inspiration, focusing on helping families better co-parent, especially with blended families. Reportedly the show will be similar to “Iyanla: Fix My Life.”
According to thejasminebrand.com, “Publicly, Mashonda went through a lot and she’s come out on the other side having not only a better relationship with Alicia and Swizz, but their son has benefited. She wants to help other parents and families who are going through the same thing,” said the source.
Mashonda and Swizz married in 2004 but called it quits in 2008. Their son, Kasseem Dean, Jr., was born in 2006. Their divorce was finalized in May 2010, the same year the producer married singer Alicia Keys.
Mashonda co-authored a book on co-parenting, titled “Blend: The Secret to Co-Parenting and Creating a Balanced Family, with contributions from her ex and Alicia.
The show will reportedly feature an ensemble cast of celebrity parents including actor Malik Yoba and celebrity stylist Misa Hylton who shares a son with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
