You know I think some old mud ducks is hating on the home girl. Just cause you can’t wear it don’t mean Meagan can’t bless us with her dress! Ok, maybe she is wrong about wearing that lady of the night dress as a preacher’s wife and presenter of the Best Gospel Award at the BET Awards.

Meagan Good is getting double heat because of her new husband who’s a minister and studio executive DeVon Franklin. In the church world; first ladies wear floppy hats and St. John suits not dresses that show boobs and stomach and the whole body. Meagan girl we aint mad at you. And it just makes me sad that us as Christians can’t see beyond our initial reaction and don’t seek God before the attack other brothers and sisters …and never think for one moment that: God knows what he’s doing and he uses everything for his glory .. and he has a plan for every specific situation.. I had intentions on anything .. Merely picked a dress I saw and loved … God knows my heart and that I didn’t do anything wrong .. And he will use even people’s thoughts to bring him glory.”

As a a child of God and preacher’s wife you are held to a greater responsibility.It was not christian nor proper attire for pastor’s wife. I’m sure you could have choosen something a lil more christ like.The bible clearly states how a woman of God should dress. Therefore, God expects a woman to dress in a proper, well-mannered fashion—certainly not in a provocative, outlandish or excessive way. Christians are to be examples to those around them, living the pages of the Bible for those who never read them. Their appearance and actions should exude stability and good judgment.Clearly Megan Good exhibit none of these attributes. Even if she don’t read the bible if indeed she had the “Holy Spirit” it would have convicted her.You had woman at the Bet Awards that don’t claim to be save or represent a preachers wife who was dress more conservative.My husband is not a preacher yet he would never allow me to dress in that manner. Leads me to question if her husband really is a man of God.Seems as if they are what the bible speaks of when referencing straddling the fence or being luke warm. God says friends with the world makes you an enemy to him. You can’t serve two masters (entertaiment world or God).Choose Devin & Megan whom you’re going to serve. Its obvious you made your choice you spoke it loud & clear in your apparel.To add insult to injury you’re justfying by affliating it with God shame on you if you read your bible you would clearly no that dress was not of God.You’re still holding on to your wordly ways & characteristic.God says be ye separted come out from among them.When you’re in Christ the old ways have passed..The bible says you can tell a tree by the fruit it bears. Girl Please! You know that dress was not appropriate to be presenting the award for best gospel. I’m not a very strict church person and I think that just because you go to church you don’t have to dress like a nun everyday, but that dress was just ridiculous. There is no shame or rules anymore people just say, wear, and do what ever these days, with no shame. You can be a pastors wife and look sexy and nice, but you should not be out half naked.
Of course she doesn’t feel sad about wearing the dress, she isn’t converted/saved. I would be upset to, and to think she married a “Minister”…whatever, anyone can “Claim to be something they’re not”….I digress. This dress looks like something “Lil Kim, Mariah Carey, J. Lo and Cher would wear.
Our individual relationship with God is just that…individual. No person can say what is in another person’s heart or how they feel about their spirituality and place in this life. Let those without sin cast the first stone and a bunch of ya’ll is standing in glass houses. Meagan dress has nothing to do with the strength of her faith. She does not need to prove anything to MAN who loves to try to interpret and dictate what others should do. Worry about yourself and your own walk. She can be both spiritual and sexy, the two are not mutually exclusive nor does being one negate the other. I support Meagan 100% and all other sexy, confident, secure, gracious, compassionate, spiritual women like here. Lest ya’ll forget Jesus hung with the outcasts, not the “church folk”
You wanna be christians are soo fucking stupid! You claim to be such “christians”, then what the fuck are you doing judging her? Isn’t that your so-called God’s place? Her dress was beautiful. Just because she is married to a pastor, who gives a fuck. She can wear what she wants. Or would you jealous cunts rather she be covered head to toe? Get a life. First off, Meagan, I am very happy that you wore that dress. It shows the human and approachable side of the Church. Most people put such a stigma on the Church family, that they don’t see us as human. According to the Bible, there is nothing wrong with your dress. A lot of people wear pants to church, and other churches that is a sin. Live in the word, and allow the devil to burn by his words. To judge you is a sin within itself, because there is only one that can judge you. You didn’t walk out of the awards and get struck down by lighting, just the lightning of the words and swords that are being thrown at you. I pray for you , and your husband, and say to you to be love, be a blessing, and pray for all that dare condemn you.
