Michael Jackson made an un-recorded world record for selling more than 1 billion albums across the world since his debut as a solo singer in 1972. Michael Jackson Estate calculated by combining the sales of the icon’s celebrated back catalog of music.

It’s been three years since the king of pop has passed away, but he’s still in the minds of millions. The record sale that is still on the rise shows just a little bit of that. However, reportedly, the news is yet to be confirmed by Sony Music. They’re holding a show at Grauman’s  Chinese Theater on January 26th celebrating the impact MJ left on pop culture.
