The title track off Michael Jackson’s upcoming posthumous album “Xscape” has leaked online.
Check out the details below.
Michael Jackson has new music and the first of it has recently surfaced online. The four-and-a-half minute gives fans their first listen to the collection of never-before-heard tracks. “Xscape” was written by Michael with the help of producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, who also had a hand in the late King of Pop’s 2001 album “Invincible.” Some of the lyrics seem to address issues in Michael’s personal life. The leaked song includes lines like,
“I tried to share my life with someone I could love, but gaining money is all she ever thought of.”
The song is expected to be featured on the upcoming release, “Xscape,” due out May 13th.
Label ceo, and the project’s executive producer, L.A. Reid, is behind the posthumous album. The album’s lead producer was Timbaland, with additional work courtesy of Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, Jerome “Jroc” Harmon and John McClain. L.A. Reid had the following to say about the forthcoming Michael Jackson album,
“Michael left behind some musical performances that we take great pride in presenting through the vision of music producers that he either worked directly with or expressed strong desire to work with. We are extremely proud and honored to present this music to the world.”
We can’t wait to hear this NEW MJ. What do you think of this posthumous album?
