Michael Vick is the Philadelphia Eagles’ franchise player for 2011. The quarterback has accepted his one-year franchise tender with the team. The Eagles placed their franchise tag on Vick last month, giving them exclusive negotiating rights with the signal-caller. Under the expiring Collective Bargaining Agreement, Vick will make at least 16-million dollars in 2011, which is the average of the top five quarterback salaries for the season.
The Eagles and Vick can still reach a long-term deal, although that’s unlikely to happen with the CBA set to expire Thursday night. Vick passed for just over three-thousand yards with 21 scores and six picks as he returned to a starting role following his suspension for running an illegal dogfighting ring.
I SEE U VICK!!!!! What a way to show the world that just b/c u made a mistake in life; that u are NOT defined by that mistake.
Hi! I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
I have a great time lurking around this site.. – Twain
