Michelle Obama Tells Her ‘Top Ten Fun Facts About Gardening’ On “Late Show”

First Lady Michelle Obama stopped by David Letterman’s “Late Show” to present the Top 10 “fun facts” about gardening. The segment not only promoted her American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America book, but also served to promote President Obama’s campaign.

The clip ends with Mrs. Obama saying, “With enough care and effort you can grow your own Barack-oli,” and showing a head of the vegetable shaped like the President.

Watch the clip here:

Among the items she presents include number 7: “In his lifetime, the average American will eat half a radish”; number 6: “The largest zucchini ever grown contained a Starbucks”; and number 5: “Later this year, the Supreme Court will finally rule on ‘tomato’ vs. ‘tomahto.’”
