Missy Elliott and Timbaland fans have a lot to look forward to this summer. Timbaland tells MTV News they plan on releasing solo albums on the same day in June. He says they will also release their first singles at the same time, although a debut date for the tracks has yet to be revealed. The famed hip-hop producer adds that they didn’t want to get too far ahead of one another while putting together their solo projects, so they decided to work on their albums “at the same time.”

Missy Elliott’s last album was 2005’s “The Cookbook.” The record was certified Gold thanks to hits like “Lose Control” and “We Run This.” Timbaland’s last album was released in 2009’s “Shock Value Two,” which featured the songs “Carry Out” and “Say Something.”

“Nobody’s Perfect” is the super infectious and extremely catchy banger off J.Cole’s debut album featuring Missy Elliott on the hook. The video is rumored to be directed by Colin Tilley, who has directed videos for artists like Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, and Mary J. Blige.
