Monica is making the biggest splash on this week’s Billboard 200 chart. The R&B diva’s latest album, “New Life,” opens at number four with first-week sales of 69-thousand. The record gives “Monica” her fifth straight top ten album. Her only release not to make the top ten was 1995’s “Miss Thang.” Monica’s lone trip to the top of the chart came in 2003 with her record “After the Storm.” Coming in one spot ahead of “New Life” on this week’s list is Nicki Minaj’s sophomore effort “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.”

The record falls from number one to number three after moving another 81-thousand units. Monica unveiled the cover of her new single, ‘Without You’ last week. The song is the second official single from her slow-selling ‘New Life’ album, following ‘It All Belongs to Me (Ft. Brandy)’, which failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

Topping this week’s Billboard 200 is R&B icon Lionel Richie and his country-inspired album “Tuskegee.” The record sold 129-thousand copies to beat out Adele’s “21” for the top spot.
