Super Model Naomi Campbell shocked the world after recent photos of her bald patches were revealed after she was photographed on a yacht. The photos show extensive hair damage, and some wonder if it may be too bad to fix. While she is normally photographed with a full head of hair, this time, the front half of her scalp was revealed, showing patches of sparse hair.

“It’s hideous, what did she do? It looks really bad!” Kazumi Morton, a hair stylist from the renowned Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills, told RadarOnline.com. “I have been doing hair extensions for years but I have never had a problem like this.”
Morton explained that the bald patches may not be the 42-year-old’s fault entirely. He isn’t Campbell’s hairstylist, but whoever was doing the model’s hair could have been botching the procedure for a long time, possibly leading to irreversible damage.
“I think whoever put the extensions in they put them way too close,” he said. “Around the hairline and the neck, the hairs are very delicate and fragile and you need to avoid attaching extensions in that area. They are way too close to the scalp as well, they need to be at least a half inch away.”

Naomi shares some of the blame, however. Using extensions and weave too often without a break can result in the bald patches as well.

Just yo yall know Campbell has a new reality show and is currently looking for a spiring models who make the cut will compete to become “the face” of a national major brand, and contracts.

Not only that, Campbell — unlike America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks — is a serious supermodel who still walks in many major shows and has ongoing relationships with major designers including Donatella Versace and Dolce & Gabbana.

She still appears in major ad campaigns, even though she’s 42, a landmark age in the modeling world.

Campbell’s friends — Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford — are definitely in that category; these “supes,” as they’re called, grew up together in the modeling business in New York, Milan and Paris and on the runways.

Nigel Barker may have been cut from his gig as a judge on “America’s Next Top Model” earlier this year, but he’s quickly rebounded, joining Naomi Campbell for Oxygen’s “The Face.”

The “renowned fashion photographer” will host the 2013-due Oxygen series, which features supermodels Naomi, Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha coaching aspiring female models hoping to become the “face” of a well-known brand.

Auditions and castings for model contestants took place in New York and L.A. last month and the shows cast is reportedly set. Models who land the show will be mentored and challenged by some of the world’s most successful supermodels.

Will yall be watching the show?
