Nelly is full of surprises. As we witnessed last night at the CMT Music Awards hosted in Nashville at the Bridgeston Arena. Nelly came out and held his own as Florida Georgia Line did their country hit “Crusing”. Nelly added a nice REMIX to their comfortable and melodic groove.
What an awesome performance. It’s so great to see Hip Hop break out of it’s box. Good Music and Good Lyrics goes hand in hand no matter the genre or ethnicity.
This year’s CMT awards was hosted by country music star Jason Aldean and actress Kristen Bell. The award show had quite a few stars to perform including but not limited to Lenny Kravitz, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, and Luke Bryan.
Nelly’s collaborators, Florida Georgia Line, managed to rack up two wins in the categories of Breakthrough and Duo Video on the Year.
