The Curvato creator herself Nicci Gilbert-Daniels, formerly of the 90s girl group Brownstone, and now a cast member on the hit show R&B Divas, would like you all to know that she’s not who you think she is. She’s not about that bully life as she appears to be on TV.
In a recent interview with Madam Noire, Nicci sheds some light on how she felt she came across during Season One.
“I’m not that horrible tyrant of a person who walks into the room saying, you do this, you do that!”
As the show’s creator and executive producer alongside diva Faith Evans, you would think she would have a bit more creative control when it came to editing, right? Apparently not. Nicci came off as an abrasive know-it-all who bumped heads with almost everyone on the cast, especially Syleena Johnson. She admits that they do have their differences, which come up again during the new season. She says she can relate to all of the ladies, and Season 2 will show more growth and maturity with everyone.
