The man who’s said to be Whitney Houston’s adopted son is denying reports that he’s dating the late R&B icon’s daughter. Nick Gordon tells ABC News that he’s just close friends with Bobbi Kristina. Gordon goes on to explain that the two have just been “going through her mom’s passing and grieving together.” New photos posted on TMZ.com appear to refute Gordon’s claims. He and Bobbi Kristina were spotted together in Atlanta on Tuesday holding hands and sharing a kiss. The 22-year-old Gordon was unofficially adopted by Houston some years back. TMZ says Whitney decided to welcome him into her home about ten years ago after discovering that his mother could no longer take care of him.
Granny Cissy Houston is calling it incest according to TMZ.
Cissy told a close friend, “What they’re doing is incestuous.” Cissy feels her granddaughter has problems and Nick is taking advantage of her.
Although Whitney never formally adopted Nick, she considered him her son and Bobbi called him her brother. For his part, Nick called Bobbi his sister.
Cissy believes Bobbi has become impressionable and is trying to get Whitney Houston’s estate to kick him out of the house where he and Bobbi K are living together. Could she be concerned that Nicholas is out for some of Whitney’s money?
Before deleting his Twitter page, Nicholas tweeted, “if it was about money…. Do you know how many interviews I was asked to give. I will remain loyal. And keep our memories to myself.”
There have also been rumors that the couple that once called themselves brother and sister are also engaged. Bobbi Kristina spoke out about the loss of her mother for the first time last weekend on the OWN’s “Oprah’s Next Chapter.” The 19-year-old recalled her final moments with her mother, and said she planned to continue her legacy through music and acting.
