Nicki Minaj earned widespread kudos and racked up some major good karma last week when she took to social media and started agreeing to pay off some folks college tuitions and student loan payments. Minaj was online promoting her #RegretInYourTears challenge when some fans hit her up asking for some financial assistance. Incredibly, she said yes.

Her feed was quickly flooded with other strapped-students looking for some help and she was only too willing to oblige. Today, Minaj revealed that she kept her word, and that the payments that she promised were indeed paid out. “This makes me so happy,” she wrote on Instagram. She also revealed she has big plans to make even more plans to help folks out in the future, including another open call on social media, as well as an official charity. “I’ll do another impromptu payment spree in a month or 2 but pls know that I’m launching my official charity for Student Loans/Tuition Payments VERY SOON! You’ll be able to officially sign up! I’ll keep you posted!

Congratulations to Herman who got $1,128 to cover two Summer classes, Aja who got to pay off an outstanding debt of $2,825.93 and Stradrianne who got a whopping $5,877.17. Here’s to all the folks that Minaj plans on helping out in the near-future.
