Nicki Minaj hopes that her success in the rap game encourages young women everywhere to pursue their dreams. The hip-hop diva tells MTV News that she wants her career to remind fans that they should “aspire to be anything” and not let anyone knock their “hustle.” Nicki goes on to add that she takes pride in the fact that girls can see her perform and realize that they too can succeed in a male-dominated industry like hip-hop. Nicki Minaj will continue to inspire fans today with the release of her new album, “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.” The album features Nicki’s current single “Starships,” as well as appearances from artists like Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Nas and Drake.
“Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” will be Nicki’s follow-up to 2010’s “Pink Friday.” The album has sold nearly two-million copies in the United States thanks to hits like “Super Bass,” “Moment 4 Life,” and “Fly.”

Minaj hit up the 25th Annual Kids Choice Award rocking a ticket stub dress and bubble gum shoes while presenting the award for ‘Favorite Music Group’ with Hunger Games actor Josh Hutcherson. Check out the video and more photos at the bottom…

Nicki Minaj confirmed she filmed  the video for her ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” track ‘Beez In The Tap’ which features rapper 2 Chainz. Nicki told  MTV News she’s finished editing the promo and there will be a clean and explicit version made available.

She revealed:

“I actually finished the editing for ‘Beez in the Trap’, which features 2 Chainz, and I love that video. It’s real sexy. There’s a clean version and an explicit version, and it’s goin’ to be poppin’.”

Nicki hit up two of New York’s biggest radio stations, Hot 97 (with Funk Master Flex) and Power 105 (with DJ Clue).The Homies over at THEJASMINEBRAND While chatting with Clue, she discussed M.I.A.’s Super Bowl finger, the pressure for album #2, her new Pepsi gig and the potential of working with Cam’ron and Wacka.

On M.I.A.’s middle finger during the Super Bowl:

“I love M.I.A. She’s cuckoo sometimes, but I love her.”

On if she believes in the sophomore jinx and if it will out sale Pink Friday:

“Hell no! This album is gonna sell so much more than Pink Friday. Ask me this question two years from today, Clue. With me, I’m never about first week and all that. I like to look at it for the long haul. I’ma travel, I’ma meet my beautiful babies, my Barbz everywhere, and this is my first time I’m gonna get to do a world tour, so the album is gonna do its thang.”

On her recent HUGE deal with Pepsi:

“I can’t comment on any Pepsi-related stuff. I do have a new relationship with Pepsi and they will tell everyone more at the right time.”

On two other male rappers that she plans to work with:

“I may have a little something something coming out with [Cam’ron]. I may have a little something something coming with Waka Flocka, my little brother. I do have a few more verses to hand in and then we got to hit the world a couple times.”

The THEJASMINEBRAND reports that, Nicki plans to work on a movie of her own and develop an acting career in 2013. The mini-movie that she has been teasing about for the past couple of months is set to give the world a personal look at her alter ego, ‘Roman.’  Nicki Minaj spoke with Capital FM explaining,

“Well I’ve been working on this character Roman and I’ve been just doing some things – writing like a story and hopefully I’ll make it into an actual movie… I did a little snippet on the Grammy’s so that people could get to know the character Roman a little bit more and see how in depth he is. I’m hoping next year I’ll be able to focus on the movie stuff and the acting and the books and all that.”

Nicki Minaj hit up the “American Idol” stage Thursday night (Mar 29) as the Young Money rapper performed her new dance single “Starships” for the first time on live television. Check out the video below…
