Entrepreneur and well-known figure in media industry, Oprah Winfrey, flew to South Africa to attend the graduation program of the class of 2011 at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls on January 14. The leadership academy is situated in Henley on Klip, South Africa.

According to sources, the school was opened in 2008 and this is the first batch of graduates. The source added that all of the girls will be attending colleges while 10 percent of them will be brought here in the United States.

In other news, the media mogul is adding three new programs to his own OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) TV Channel. Source said that the title of the new programs will be “Lovetown USA,” “Lives on Fire,” and “Are You Normal, America?”

  1. Lovetown USA — 2 matchmakers and 8 singles in a small Southern town. The residents are in on the “experiment.”
  2. Lives on Fire — How do four women cope with the pressures of working emergency response in California??
  3. Are You Normal, America? — Like that part of her talk show we loved, this one will talk responses from Americans everywhere to discuss what’s normal in the country.
