Oprah Winfrey plans to talk with Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter in an exclusive interview that’s scheduled to air Sunday, March 11th on OWN. “The Hollywood Reporter” quotes a release from the network as saying, “Bobbi Kristina shares personal memories of her mom and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered.” The release added the “family also addresses the rumors and speculation surrounding Houston’s death.” The interview will air on “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”
In other news Whitney Houston’s name is likely going to be all over the new Billboard 200 chart. Billboard.com says industry analysts expect four of Houston’s records to be in the top ten of this week’s list. “Whitney: The Greatest Hits” is expected to sell around 100-thousand copies and remain in second place for a third straight week. “The Bodyguard” soundtrack, “Whitney Houston,” and “I Look to You” are also expected to land in the top ten. Just last week Whitney became the first artist in 44 years to have three albums in the Billboard 200′s top ten. Simon & Garfunkel were the last act to accomplish the feat back in 1968.
British singer Adele is expected to once again keep “Whitney: The Greatest Hits” from being number one. Adele’s hit record “21″ is projected to enjoy a 23rd week atop the chart with sales between 200-and-220-thousand.
