NBC Canceling Jay Leno’s Prime-Time Show

I know you are thinking who care’s but hey this is still news … Jay’s been kicked off prime time.

Confirming days of rumors, Jeff Gaspin, the chairman of NBC Universal Entertainment, on Sunday announced that starting Feb. 12, The Jay Leno Show will no longer air at 10 p.m. but that the network hoped to keep Leno for an 11:35 p.m. show, Conan O’Brien for 12:05 p.m. and then Jimmy Fallon after that.

But, Gaspin adds, “It’s not a done deal yet.”

Gumby Animator Art Clokey Has Died

Gumby animator Art Clokey, whose bendable creation became a pop culture phenomenon through countless satires, toys and revivals, has died at age 89.

Caretaker Chrisanne Wollett Clokey says Clokey died Friday in Los Osos on California’s Central Coast.

Clokey first molded Gumby for a surreal student project at the University of Southern California called “Gumbasia.” That led to his making shorts for the “Howdy Doody Show” and several series through the years.

He said he based Gumby’s swooping head on the hairdo of his father, who died when Clokey was nine.

Clokey also created the moralizing and often satirized claymation duo “Davey and Goliath.”

Eddie Murphy brought a surge in Gumby’s popularity in the 1980s with his send-up of the character on “Saturday Night Live” as a cigar-smoking primadonna.

Ray J is speaking out about recent rumors concerning his sexuality. In a statement to Rapbasement.com, the “For The Love of Ray J” star proclaims, quote, “I’m not gay but at the same time I got love for gay people because I work with gay people and I got a couple of friends that gay and that’s cool.” Former “For The Love of Ray J” contestant Monica “Danger” Leon started the speculation when she came forward to claim that the “Sexy Can I” singer is actually a homosexual. While Ray J says he still has love for “Danger,” he believes that she made false statements about his sexuality after he failed to return her calls.

He adds, quote, “We both upset with each other but it’s ok because I’m going to work it out with her soon and we gonna be friends again.” Ray J’s sister, Brandy, also chimed in on “Danger’s” allegations tweeting, quote, “I need for Danger to watch her tongue!!! To say my brother is gay because he didn’t return her calls is DUMB.” All-new episodes of VH1’s “For The Love of Ray J” air Mondays at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.

Here is what Ray J’s sister Brandy said..
