Paula Deen looked sincere as she peered in the camera and stated the following words,
“I want to apologize to everybody for the wrong that I’ve done,” she said, near tears, in a short, edited statement posted on YouTube. “I want to learn and grow from this. Inappropriate and hurtful language is totally, totally unacceptable. I’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way but I beg you, my children, my team, my fans, my partners, I beg for your forgiveness.”
Paula was slated to sit down with Matt Lauer but decided to skip altogether citing EXHAUSTION as the cause. As you guys will remember we posted that Paula admitted to using the N-WORD in a lawsuit against her restaurant.
Opinion insert: We all know Paula Deen is from the filthy/nasty/stanking/dirty south. It is hurtful to see and hear it in print but are we really surprised? It is what it is!
