Over the weekend I had the opportunity to journey to Selma, Alabama to be apart of the 50th Anniversary of Bloody Sunday in Selma Alabma. I was one of 80,000 people who made their way to Selma to commiserate the monumentus occassion.
Special thanks to my good friends over at Centric TV for the opportunity to experience this monumental occassion that included some of the biggest acts, politicians, and iconic figures of today.

Over eighty thousand people gathered on the Edmund Pettus Bridge to celebrate the big occassion. I connected with so many people who had stories. It was truly an amazing experience to celebrate the big weekend.
I had the opportunity to travel to Selma with my good friends over at Centric TV; special thanks to Mr. Avery the head of PR.
The stars came out to show their support and help celebrate this moment in our history.
The march to Montgomery is the first of at least three that will take place over the next three weeks to commemorate the Selma-to-Montgomery march of 1965. The purpose of this week’s march, which will end at the Alabama State Capitol on Friday, is to advocate for modern-day voting rights.
In attendance was legendary rapper Flava Flav who chose to wear a nice suit because the leaders of the past stayed fresh in nice suits.
Civil Rights Legend and Atlanta State Representative John Lewis was there to lend his support. BeBe Waynes and family was in the building ..
Q Parker and Sharlinda Parker were there with their family to celebrate the occassion.
Chrisette Michele was there with her boyfriend farther and beautiful mother showing their support.
Rapper Vanilla Ice was in attendance. Hip MC Lyte was in attendance.
Alabama native R&B Singer Ruben Studdard was in attendance with his mother.
Classic Hip Hop Star DaddyO was in attendance.
Hairstylists Derek J and Chrstian were on hand to offer beauty services for the performers and activists.
Comedian Chris Tucker was there to lend support.
AJ Calloway of Extra was there to cover the monumentus occasion.
