Be Magazine’s 4th Annual No Wire Hangers Fashion Show was big success. The runway was filled with creative pieces and bare skinned models. Designers Calapo by Carey & Vintage Hazel pulled out the season new trends in fashion and wowed the guest. Exclusive Vodka was on hand with the cocktails and the rest of the action was on the runway!

Sunday November 17, 2013 marked BE Magazine’s 4th annual No Wire Hangers benefit fashion show. The over-the-top event, sponsored by Xclusive Vodka, was well attended, star studded and benefited AID Atlanta’s Evolution Project.
The Evolution Project is a drop in center for gay black men between the ages of 18-28, and is located in midtown Atlanta at 583 Juniper St.
Evolution offers its members a myriad of experiences and events and programs that are member led and centered. Events range from safer sex workshops to holiday parties and social events. BE Magazine wanted this year’s show to benefit The Evolution Project for multiple reasons; they wanted to not only offer the center a monetary donation, but also to give them visibility and support from the larger black community, as that is something that has been lacking over the years.
One can say that the partnership between BE and Evolution, in ways, marks the Evolution of the black community as a whole. Anyone interested in donating or volunteering with Evolution should contact the center at 404-524-5441, and anyone interested in learning more about programs and services offered can contact the program via twitter at @Evolution_ATL, Tumblr: Evolutionatl.tumblr.com, or like their fanpage at The Evolution Project.
