The big homie Carl Anthony Payne started from the bottom now he’s here and doing it big with the grand opening of his new Entertainment Office located at the M. Rich Center in historic Downtown Atlanta.

Longtime industry acting veteran Carl Anthony Payne III who has been in the game since the age of 14 has taken plight by opening his entertainment office in Downtown Atlanta! Carl Anthony Payne Entertainment (CAPE) Office officially opened its doors with the blessings of Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed in conjunction with the grand opening of Alaydi’s Café in Historic Downtown Atlanta. This move in the entertainment industry will bring new job opportunities to the City of Atlanta. The office will be a one stop shop for the Actor, Director and Producer by offering Consulting and Television and Film Production Services, Casting Services with national casting director Winsome Sinclair, Professional Actor Services and more! Payne’s hope is to offer new instructional opportunities and enhanced training resources geared toward preparing aspiring actors, producers and directors for successful careers in the entertainment industry from childhood to professional age.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception was held jointly with Celebrity Chef Linda Alaydiof Alaydi’s Cafe yesterday at the M. Rich Center for Creative Arts, Media and Technology located in Downtown Atlanta at the intersection of Peachtree St and Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Southwest. The Center is home to media company Creative Loafing. The evening featured a dedication and commitment from Payne and the Mayor on this celebratory evening! Payne also kicked off the sign-ups for the Carl Anthony Payne Youth Legacy Foundation 2014 Summer Camp Initiative geared toward training and empowering young aspiring actors aged nine to 17 with improv, stage presence and self-esteem skills. CEO Linda Alaydi of Alaydi’s Cafe share an acknowledgment of her new café and working with celebs and district judges in Atlanta.
Some of the celebs on deck to support were Mayor of Atlanta Kasim Reed, Dr. Jackie from Married to Medicine, Martin Co-star Tommy Ford, Memphitz, Actor Brad James, Michael Keith of 112, Judge Terrinee Gundy and more!
The grand opening also included an open house of the M. Rich Center which was recently a partner of the Preservation Center Atlanta and will feature public tours of the historic facility, originally the M. Rich & Bros Department Store. The building spans 110,000 sq. ft. with a conference room, event space, rehearsal stage and collaboration spaces.
“For the last couple of years, Atlanta has achieved significant success in placing tax incentives in the entertainment industry drawing in major production companies relocation and job creations for individuals in front and behind the camera lens. This office demonstrates our commitment to investing in the best possible resources to help aspiring actors, middle and high school students with after school training in an effort to keep students off the streets and allow emerging entertainment professionals an opportunity to obtain the skills and knowledge to pursue successful careers in the entertainment industry,” says CEO Carl Anthony Payne.
CAPE and his business manager Dora Din-Durant have goals to utilize the platform of Payne and his longstanding career in the entertainment industry to develop and mold the careers of the next breed of emerging talent. CAPE also plans to foster relationships with local production and media companies, develop new collaborations, and meet key city officials and stakeholders that will dramatically increase educational, training and employment opportunities for our students and emergent talent.”
