My girl Demetria McKinney is known for her wonderful acting skills thanks to “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” and “The Rickey Smiley Show” but few know that this girl got a voice that is out of this world. I had the opportunity to catch up with my girl as she hosted her private listening session and dinner at Tree Sound Studios. She showcased “Officially Yours” and baby I think we got a WINNER!

It is so exciting to see my girl Demetria McKinney evolve into a SUPERSTAR. I have known the homie for several years and have had the opportunity to sit back and see her blossom into a star of epic proportions. She used her talent to break into tv and now she is using that platform to show the world she is not only a great actress but a terrific singer. As I sat back and listened to the music I can’t front I was pleasantly surprised. Before attending the event I really did not know what to expect because let’s keep it 100 so many stars have visions of grandeur and miss the mark.

But baby girl got some real skills meaning she can really SANG! I am excited about the world seeing the superstar that I know as Demetria McKinney.

Demetria was surrounded by her family and close friends as she showcased her upcoming music project, “Officially Yours”.

The project is produced by Mykel Snoddy, Kendrick Dean and The Good Guys, “Officially Yours” will introduce the ‘woman behind the characters’ and give an intimate look inside the personal life of Demetria McKinney. I tell you Mali when you get tired of working in music you need to open a restaurant; her food is the best. Licks my lips as I remember dinner from last night. YUM!
