Check out the details below.
Kandi Burruss lent her celebrity to promote the upcoming film ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ in Atlanta. ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ is an American musical comedy film directed by Elizabeth Banks and written by Kay Cannon, slated for release on May 15, 2015 from Universal Pictures. It is a sequel to the 2012 film Pitch Perfect, which was loosely adapted from Mickey Rapkin’s non-fiction book, titled Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate A Cappella Glory. The film stars an ensemble cast led by Anna Kendrick, Skylar Astin, Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow.and Ester Dean as Cynthia-Rose Adams
After an exposure mishap with Fat Amy and the President, the Barden Bellas enter a worldwide competition that an American group has never won in order to regain their status and right to perform. The film is thoroughly entertaining!
Kandi used the evening as an opportunity to spend time with her husband Todd Tucker, daughter Riley and her oh so crunk Mama Joyce.
Celebrities in the Atlanta area also came out to support the film including fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta member Claudia Jordan, R&B Singer Montell Jordan (his hit song “This is How We Do It” is featured in the film), HGTV personality Egypt Sherrod and her husband DJ Fadelf, VH1’s Atlanta Exes star Tameka Raymond, Actress Jasmine Burke and of course members of Kandi’s family including her husband Todd Tucker, daughter Riley Burruss and Mama Joyce.
Kandi is a busy lady these days; Kandi and Todd Tucker have been filming a Bravo spinoff about building their marriage, while juggling their complicated family and career situations. Bravo has just confirmed a 3-episode special titled ‘Kandi’s Ski Trip’ will begin airing following the Real Housewives Of Atlanta reunion.
The 3-episode special is all about Kandi and Todd planning a Burruss-Tucker family ski vacation to Colorado to take their minds off of Todd’s mother Sharon’s sudden passing. There, they face “newlywed” issues from “struggling to blend their families to trying to get pregnant.” If successful, Bravo will green-light the show for a full-season run. Both Kandi and Todd produced the show with the combined forces of their production companies! As you can see the Tuckers know how to stay busy while making that paper.
