Radio and television personality Egypt Sherrod spent her birthday this past weekend out and about in the Atlanta community. On Thursday, she hosted the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta’s annual “Youth of the Year” Celebration at the Georgia Aquarium, where Nyomi Haynes from the South Atlanta High School Boys & Girls Club – a future Supreme Court Judge – received the coveted “YOY” award.

On Saturday, Egypt welcomed hundreds of boxing fans to the K.O. Kings‘ “King of the Ring” Pro Boxing and MMA event at AmericasMart. Attendees included Musiq Soulchild, actress Jasmine Burke (who sang the National Anthem), Brad James (Tyler Perry’s “For Better or Worse”) former Dekalb County CEO Vernon Jones, comedian Sir Walt, DJ Fadelf and many more.

Egypt is the host of V103′s “On Air with Egypt” (10am – 2pm) and HGTV’s ”Property Virgins” (Tuesdays @ 9/8c).
