Pics: Soulja Boy Landed Fault Magazine Fall Cover

Soulja Boy (real name DeAndre Cortez Way) is covering FAULT magazine’s Fall Men’s cover. The 22-year-old rapper/producer is romantically linked to rapper Diamond.

If you ask me he cleans up pretty nice. In a recent interview thejasminebrand reports Soulja Boy spoke about his upcoming album “Promise” as well as both of his clothing lines S.O.D.M.G and OCG.

There are also rumors that Soulja Boy and Diamond will be joining the Season 2 cast of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta said to be filmed spring of 2013. What do you think about that idea?

Check out some  more pics and Q&A from the interview:

Q : So can you tell us more details about PROMISE, when can fans expect that out and who are some artist your collaborating with on the tracks?

“Well, I’ve been working with a lot of different producers for my fourth album. Promise is about growth and maturity for me. I worked with Sean Kingston,Yung Ill and Vinny Cha$e. Actually Vinny and I are coming out with a collaboration together called ‘Double Cook City’, watch out for that.”

Q : Soulja, some people have one clothing line – you have two: S.O.D.M.G and OCG. Can you tell us more about those lines?

“Well I actually started S.O.D.M.G at 17. I’ve always been into fashion. OCG is a movement, inspired from the love of the ocean really. That label took off very quickly and infiltrated the market, we received lots of positive feedback and sales with both lines.”

Thanks for the considered evaluation and rebuttal Lucy. It is unfortunate that an organisation like the BDA seems to be stuck in weight bias, rather than focussing on scientifically-verified health outcomes. The medical maxim “first do no harm” seems to be forgotten these days as the rush to be thin above everything has gained so much attention that it’s accepted as ‘true’ regardless of the evidence. Your ongoing refusal to be squeezed into popular thinking is inspiring.
