Authorities in New Jersey arrested one of Juelz Santana’s associates following a raid of the emcee’s studio last Thursday. Police in Bergenfield charged Skull Gang rapper Hynief with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance after they found drugs and guns inside the studio. Police conducted the raid following a ten-month investigation that allegedly included Hynief distributing marijuana to an undercover cop on two occasions last summer. Hynief, whose real name is Toby Raynor, was released over the weekend. While Juelz Santana wasn’t arrested, the raid did cause him to miss an appearance in Chicago. Santana tweeted, quote, “If it ant 1 thing it’s another, smh. Sorry to all the people in chi-town that came out last night I couldn’t make it!! Trouble wit the law.”
Juelz Santana is reportedly working on a third studio release titled “Born To Lose, Built To Win.” A release date for the record has not been announced.
