Q Parker from R&B super group 112 is ready to get back in theÂ music scene and this time he will doing it solo. The year 2012 will definitely be the year of Mr. Parker as he readies his first solo debut album titled The MANual as well as a new 2012 Fitness Calendar. Q Parker partnered with famed photography Allen Cooley in 2011 to do his first fitness calendar which ended up being a huge success worldwide and he decided to join Cooley again to release another fitness calendar for 2012. Being a Atlanta native, Q Parker shot most of the calendar in various locations around the Atlanta area and being a man that loves to give back, a portion of the calendar proceeds will go to research for Prostate and Breast Cancer.
Although he says that he is still indeed a member of 112 he wanted to make a solo project for awhile now and finally feeld the time is right. Recently he signed a recording contract with Â NeWFAM Entertainment production company and well-established/powerhouse independent record label, Malaco Records. The first single off his debut album The MANual will be called “Show Me How” and he looked to acclaimed producer Kendrick Dean who has work accredited to Trey Songz, Monica, Joe, Mary J. Blige and many more. “Show Me How” was written by another heavyweight in the industry JQue Smith who has written for artists such as Â Beyonce,Usher, Anthony Hamilton andÂ Omarion. It looks like Parker definitely went for the best of the best when coming up with material for this new album and prepares to give fans something they will enjoy.
