Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin has potential buyers for property

The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin passed away August 16th, 2018. Aretha left behind many assets and also a massive multi-million dollar tax debt that has reportedly decreased from its original amount.

Reports from TMZ say, legal documents state sellers are looking to liquidate the Aretha Franklin’s assets and eliminate expenses after her passing.

Franklin purchased a home in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan in 1977. The 1.05 acre lot is being offered for 1.4 million. It has been upgraded since the Queen of soul purchased it.

It’s located at 4585 Kiftsgate Bend.

Sources say that Aretha has a plethora of properties and assets that should be able to cover the debt she left behind.

We have images of the inside of one of Aretha’s Detroit properties that sold last October for $300,000. Sources say the 1927 Detroit Golf Club home was rarely visited by Aretha when she was alive. By rarely,  we mean a whole ten years of not living in the house. Developer Anthony O. Kellum purchased the property with intentions to make adjustments and additions.

Aretha Louise Franklin was an American singer, songwriter, pianist, and civil rights activist. She started her career by singing gospel in a church as a child.

Aretha has four children and over ten albums.

RIP Aretha
