Ray J owes several thousand dollars to a South Carolina radio station for skipping out on an appearance back in 2010. TMZ is reporting that the R&B and reality TV star owes Cox Radio more than 26-thousand dollars. Cox Radio originally filed suit claiming they paid Ray J 20-thousand dollars to appear at a local event for a couple hours and then attend a meet-and-greet with fans. Ray J never showed up, and Cox Radio says they never got their 20-thousand dollars back.
A judge in South Carolina ruled in Cox Radio’s favor, and ordered the singer to pay just over 25-thousand dollars. Ray J never wound up paying the money, so Cox Radio has taken the judgement to his home state of California. The judgement has since grown to nearly 27-thousand dollars.
