Ray J is denying allegations that his bodyguards beat up two men last week. A rep for the R&B and reality TV star tells TMZ neither Ray J nor any members of his group “had anything to do with the incident that is being reported.” The rep explains Ray J was working on his new TV show at the time of the alleged incident and had off duty police officers protecting him. The rep adds that Ray J was escorted to his vehicle and “left without incident.” A man identified only as Phil previously told TMZ.com that his friend was punched by one of Ray J’s bodyguards last Friday morning after being told to get away from the singer’s vehicle.
Phil says he was coming to help his friend when he was punched by another bodyguard. He claims he was knocked out and wound up needing treatment for a mild concussion. Phil says he plans to press charges.
