Rihanna will be popping up in a few new places this fall. According to TMZ, the R&B diva is set to make an appearance on the U.S. version of “The X Factor” as a guest judge. She’ll reportedly be working with Antonio “L.A.” Reid to help decide which contestants he should mentor during the show, which is set to premiere September 21st at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on Fox. The singer already has a working relationship with the former chairman and CEO of Island Def Jam, as he signed her to the label back in 2005. Neither Rihanna or Fox have confirmed the news as yet, but the singer reportedly loved her last “X Factor” gig. She performed during the finale of the U.K. version of the show last year.
Rihanna is also set to make an appearance on the new Coldplay album. Chris Martin and company announced the full track list for “Mylo Xyloto,” which will include a collaboration between the two acts on the song “Princess of China.” The album is due out October 25th.
One thing I do l-ve about Rihanna is her sense of humor. I know she’ll be an excellent judge and bring life to the show. And i’m dying to hear her song with Coldplay. L-ve that band.
