Rihanna New Album Flops + RiRi Walks Out Of Club After Club Plays Chris Brown Song

Rihanna hasn’t been able to get a break these past few days…  It seems like lately RiRi’s luck hasn’t been that good, her new album which is considered a flop doesn’t make it any better. Controversies and major promotional tours  no longer count when it comes to sailing albums, because Rihanna’s “Rated R” album is failing. I was told that the album “is a like a bad Rock N Roll album, off key“, – by one of Atlanta’s top record stores mangers … After all the interviews, the publicity, the name-brand producers, writers, and big budget music videos “Rated R” is expected to sell a measly 160K in her first week. Her record is now on sale for 99 cents. While Susan Boyle’s ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ is estimated to sell around 550,000 units and will be taking the top of the charts.

Kredible Alerts is reporting that Rihanna attended the launch party for Cash Money artist Jay Sean this past Friday in London. A source says Rihanna looked ready to party and was dancing, until the DJ played a Chris Brown song, which prompted her to return to her table, gather her entourage and leave the party. The source told Britain Magazine, the DJ was insensitive and probably played the song to get a reaction.  WOW… I think in the end she’s growing up and maybe we are being to hard on her…

    **crickets** God don’t like ugly.

    Proverbs 6:16-19 (King James Version)

16These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

17A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

18An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

19A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

    @FreddyO —

Wait a minute, wasn’t she just, last week, doing an interview on/at some Atlanta radio station, saying that she doesn’t, and I quote: “Turn off the radio when she hears Chris’ music?” …”I’m not a snob” is what she said, “I like his music!”

So, why now, the change of heart, Rhianna? Could it be that you got wind of his upcoming interview on ABC, advertised as a ‘tell-all?’ Could it be that he went on BigBoy’s radio show WITH Tina Davis beside him? Tina took no questions; gave no answers, should you ask!
Or, could it be Breezy’s recent revelation – post YOUR 20/20 interview- that he’s ‘moving-on’ and “doesn’t care who ‘shawty’ sees/does?” “I’m good” is what CBreezy said!

Or, could it be that you took the biggest gamble yet, and seemed to come up empty: “snake eyes?” So now, you’ve apparently ‘burned your bridges,’ haven’t you?
Def Jam will surely be “reevaluating their relationship” with you, of THAT I can be sure. I’m NO ‘industry-insider,’ but after all the hype, YOUR 8 months of silence, YOUR newly found ‘Feb 8th sainthood’ and you can’t dominate the charts?
Artists would die for the press/publicity you got! And what did you do with it?……………

So what are YOU left with:
    *Dim ‘future prospects.’
*NO Chris – you’ll get no more ‘Twitter longings’ from Tappahannock, that’s for sure!
    *Ridicule.
    *Embarrassment.
    *Second-guessing.
    *Doubt.

So you’re surely “toxic” right now, what’s worse, you’re just ‘bad-luck!’ And as I’ve been saying all along- for months now – the truth WILL come out; someone somewhere has YOUR statement that YOU gave to the cops in which you told, out of YOUR own mouth, with your OWN voice, that you slapped, punched and hit Chris; ‘therefore-after’, characterized by the LAPD as the ‘Aggressor and Instigator’ of the violence in that Lambo on THAT Feb 8th evening!

Let’s see if Elin Wood’s recent ‘golf club wielding incident’ hurries along the ‘truths of Feb 8th!”
Let’s also see if Tiger get’s his “Cabolai,” or whatever he calls himself, pass revoked and THEN let’s see if black folk is stupid enough to let him back into their ‘graces!’

    X,Y,”and Z” — OUT!

    that’s pretty childish of her

  4. Nikki says:

@ her walking out when his song is being played is pretty childish but whos to say what she feels when she hears his song

and her album came in at #4 selling 184,000 copies, thats not flopping if u consider who she was up against and considering what most females are selling these days she did damn good.

Mply put, it’s my opinion that her record label tried to captialize on hat happened with her abd Chris, by rushing an album out to the shelves. With Rihanna’s previous successes, there was no immediate new for such a highly hyped promotional tour. I also think buyers questioned her intentions of speaking out about the incident (co-incidentally) during her album promotion tour. Why not talk about it before then? A week before your album drops, all of a sudden you want to share? It just seems in really bad taste. I think both she and Chris Brown should have waited to drop albums. They have enough $, fame, and talent to stay relevant until things blow over, abd they really have good material to put out.
