Rihanna’s reputation as a record-breaker has made its way to Vevo, the popular video streaming service. The singer now has 12 videos boasting more than 100 million views – the most of any other artist on the site. It was Rihanna’s 2009 song “Russian Roulette” that hit the 100-million mark this week, joining the ranks of her previous hits like “We Found Love” and “Where Have You Been.” Rihanna’s two latest singles, “Diamonds” and “Stay,” have both garnered 100-million views on Vevo as well. The success of “Unapologetic” has put her on a record-setting roll. Last month, Rihanna became the artist with the most number one songs on Billboard’s Pop Songs chart, beating out her pal Katy Perry for the title.
Rihanna, the fashion designer, has reemerged. In the midst of her “Diamonds” world tour, the singer is reteaming with River Island to design the Autumn and Winter collections for her “Rihanna For River Island” line. Rihanna posted an Instagram photo of of herself and design partner Adam Selman putting their heads together to fit a model.
She captioned it saying she was in “design mode” and that they “went to #werk” on the new collections. Rihanna’s first collection for the British brand received mixed reviews from the fashion press when it debuted during London Fashion Week back in March.
Back in the music world, Rihanna is reportedly gearing up to release her David Guetta collaboration called “Right Now” as the next single off “Unapologetic.”
