It looks like Rihanna is giving acting another shot. The R&B diva, who made her acting debut earlier this summer in “Battleship,” is set to lend her vocal talents to one of the lead characters in DreamWorks Animation’s new project, “Happy Smekday!” Rihanna’s co-star for the film, which is based on Adam Rex’s Book “The True Meaning of Smekday,” will be Emmy-winning star of “The Big Bang Theory” Jim Parsons. Tim Johnson, who co-directed “Antz” and “Over the Hedge,” will helm the project. DreamWorks hopes to have “Happy Smekday!” in theaters in 2014. Rihanna Daily made quite a tour around British studios yesterday in London. She was seen visiting a Nothing Hill studio, the Sarm studio and then headed to the Power House studios in Chiswick. For the past few days she was rehearsing for her upcoming music festivals, however, rumor has it she’s been gathering material for new album as well.

Word on the streets is Rihanna has booked studio time with top up-and-coming music producers Burns and Nicky Romero. Touching down in London this week, RiRi is rumored to be working in the studio with Sean Garrett and Eric Bellinger as well. Apparently, Swedish House Mafia have also flown into the capital to no doubt create a club banger for the chart-topping singer.

Talking to Capital FM few months ago Rihanna has shared:

“I’m definitely thinking about the next record. I’m a multi-tasker so… Right now we’re working on collecting and creating the sound first before we even start working on the lyrical direction or melodies. I kind of have an idea though, and it’s very rough right now,”

she continued.

This would be Rihanna’s 7th album! Just so yall know Oprah Winfrey has revealed that Rihanna will be interviewed on Oprah’s Next Chapter TV show in August.
