Rihanna only spent 12 minutes with Chicago high schoolers after making them wait four hours! The singer was supposed to hang out with the kids because they won her “Shine Like A Diamond” contest. However, she said her arrival was because of the Chicago traffic. Sure.
The program was supposed to start at 1 PM but didn’t start until 5 PM because Riri wasn’t there yet. Check out Rihanna greeting some of the kids when she finally made it.
She gave the students a quick message saying, “I was so impressed and touched seeing your video. I wanted to come and express that to you in person”.
Perhaps her lateness can be excused seeing that she had a show later that night for her Diamonds World Tour. Can you believe Rihanna showed up that late? What do you think she could have done instead?
