The homie Rihanna is showing love to the families of the LAPD by donating $25,000.

Superstar Rihanna is reportedly donating a hefty sum to the Los Angeles Police Department.  Police Commissioner Steve Sobroff announced Tuesday that the singer is donating 25-thousand dollars.  The gift will go to the department’s cadet program and the families of fallen officers.  Sobroff says he is also auctioning off his cell phone.  He said the “Diamonds” singer broke it while he was sitting next to her at a recent Los Angeles Clippers basketball game.  The sale of the phone on eBay will go to benefit the police foundation.
