Singer Etta James, 73, Dies of Leukemia Complications



 Legendary blues singer Etta James, who is most famous for the hit song “At Last,” has died from complications of leukemia, at Riverside Community Hospital in L.A. with her husband and sons at her side, her manager, Lupe De Leon said. She had been diagnosed with chronic leukemia in January 2011.

“It’s a tremendous loss for her fans around the world,” he said. “She’ll be missed. A great American singer. Her music defied category,” Lupe De Leon said.
