Singer Hank Williams, Jr. has issued an apology today for a comment he made that compared President Obama to dictator Adolf Hitler. Williams’ comments caused his song to be pulled from the ESPN network where fans know him for his song Are You Ready for Some Football, which is the theme song for Monday night football. The song has been a part of the series telecasts since 1989.
Early yesterday, Williams made a comment on the Fox and Friends show stating, ““That would be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu. Not hardly. In the shape this country is in?”. In reply to this statement, ESPN stated that,”We are extremely disappointed with his comments, and as a result we have decided to pull the open from tonight’s telecast.”.
However, after not having his song play yesterday, I suppose Hank Williams is having a change of heart and has issued an apology.
I have always been very passionate about politics and sports and this time it got the best or worst of me. The thought of the leaders of both parties jukin’ [sic] and high fiven’ [sic] on a golf course, while so many families are struggling to get by, simply made me boil over and make a dumb statement, and I am very sorry if it offended anyone. I would like to thank all my supporters. This was not written by some publicist.
As of now, ESPN hasn’t made a decision as to whether or not they will allow his song to be played anymore in the future. What do you think of Hank Williams comments and his timely apology? Do you agree with ESPN’s decision to pull his song off the air?
Why is he apologizing for the comparison?? Obama’s mercenaries murdered innocents in the Ivory Coast to overthrow the nationalist Ivoirian leader President Gbagbo, even though he was supported by the overwhelming majority of Ivorians. Obama did this, with the help of racist French leader, Nicolas Sarkozy, because he wanted a US-groomed leader who was paid in advance to hand over the wealth of the Ivory Coast people (their resources).
Obama and his NATO mercenaries are now doing the same exact thing in Libya. They are in the process of bombing the Libyan civilian population, in an effort to put pin place the US-backed NTC criminal faction. The reason they are doing this?? Because Libya’s revolutionary leader, Kadaffi, was at the head of the movement to make a United States Africa; a common currency, the “African Gold Dinar, which was worth more than all of the European/US currencies combined; because Kadaffi and the United States of African movement was going to force the US and Europe to trade not by the worthless US/European currencies, but by the African Gold Dinar, which would’ve meant that the US and Europe would’ve had to pay Africa what its resources are worth. Obama is literally slaughtering the Libyan people, a people who were self-governing – they had no president, the people ruled themselves via tribal counsels. Obama’s NATO mercenaries bombed the Libyan hospitals, schools, religious buildings, and civilian homes – in an effort to break the will of the self-governing Libyan people.
ALSO, Obama armed the criminal faction, NTC, with weapons, even though this NTC group is committing genocide against Black Libyans, and other Africans (Blacks) living in Libyan from Ghana, Nigeria, etc. Obama is backing this group and arming them, knowing that they are committing this genocide against Africans in Libya (there are films online even on YouTube showing the actual lynchings of these Black people by Obama’s NTC army). The ENTIRE TOWN OF TAWARGHA is GONE, it’s BLACK population has been wiped out by this Obama mercenary army.
The US news is not reporting it because the White House tells your news what to report and what not to report. The only coverage I’ve seen on it is in Russia and only one report in France (because France is participating in this genocide in Libya and in the Ivory Coast).
So I ask you, WHY SHOULD HANK WILLIAMS TAKE BACK HIS COMMENT??? Hitler committed genocide and so is Obama. WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE.

Why is it when the Dixie Chicks singer made a ‘political’ comment the majority of their music was pulled….no ripped out of rotation, burned in parking lots, slid off of store shelves into garbage bins. The fact that someone should be able to speak the truth does not make it right in all arenas (no pun intended) whatever President Obama or former President Bush does or has done (to protect us) is or should be reserved for the mature discussions of those who want to make our home, the UNITED STATES of AMERICA safe. We are a house divided why can’t we do better, one would think since we think we knew better. I still like Hank Williams and the Dixie Chicks, but time and place is everything.
Im so tired of the hidden secret feeling regarding our PRESIDENT OBAMA, you dont hear Hank compare him the the most hideous person show wat little regards and he is not sorry his is sorry about not having his song played, Why for the last 3 years they just dont want to give this man credit for the things that he has done and the biggest mess to clean up after Bush put America in such bad shape money ,wars, fema and now he wants to call President Obama Hitler he needs to take off those shade and mayb stop smoking wat his soon is just sayin.
