Recently, we reported that singer-songwriter Solange was facing a tax lien from the state of California. A representative has now stated that the issue was just a mixup.

Singer-songwriter Solange had recently been in the news for not only her recent marriage to music video director Alan Ferguson and the photos from the ceremony, but also for an impending tax lien as a result of unpaid taxes from 2010 to 2012. We reported that per TMZ, the unfortunate lien appeared just three days after the wedding. However, a representative for Solange has told E! News that the whole thing is really just a simple misunderstanding.

Apparently, there was an issue where Solange’s residency or non-residency in California needed to be determined. The representative, Sarah Cunningham, says that the issue will “come to a swift close.” Another unnamed source told E! News “Solange wasn’t too worried. She’s on top of stuff and has always been financially responsible.”

Honestly, I don’t think we were all that concerned either! We’re glad to hear that this little situation will be put behind the 28-year-old newlywed very soon!
