Businessman Steve Stoute has recently launched “The Tanning Effect,” a web series with AOL HuffPost Media Group that deals with race, business and pop culture. On the show, the marketing genius will discuss the issues of race and business and how both are impacted by pop culture. Steve is currently the star of ABC’s “Shark Tank” and the author of The Tanning Of America: How the Culture of Hip-Hop Rewrote the Rules of the New Economy. Stoute is know for linking the entertainment industries top names with high profile business deals and endorsements (e.g Justin Timberlake/McDonald’s, LeBron James/State Farm Insurance) through his Translation Consultation & Brand Imaging company.
Mr. Stoute will be launching his book at HBCU Howard University tonight.
