We all know that Stevie Wonder is blind but that isn’t stopping him from gearing up to compete on “Dancing With The Stars”.
The legendary singer told Ellen from the “The Ellen DeGenres Show” that he wants to show off his dance moves.
However, he noted that he is losing weight and once he gets to where he wants to be he does indeed plan to compete.
This is quite exciting news. Stevie Wonder is very talented musically and I would love to see what he could do as far as dancing goes. If he does decide to compete he won’t be the first competitor to have had a disability. In 2007, Paul McCartney’s ex-wife Heather Mills competed as an amputee survivor. In addition to Mills, deaf actress Marlee Matlin competed in 2008.
What do you think of Stevie Wonder’s choice to compete on “Dancing With The Stars”? Would you be excited to see the show if he were a contender?

How is he going to know the steps i think its kind of hard. Dancing with the Stars is getting desperate because i believe its not going to be easy .
THIS WOULD DEFINITELY BE THE A-LIST STAR ‘DWTS’ WOULD BE LOOKING FOR. I WOULD BE TUNING IN JUST FOR HIM
Wow, Stevie Wonder on DWTS!!! I do not watch the show but I will be a fan as long as Stevie Wonder is a contestant!!!!
STEVIE IS A LEGEND AND THE WORLD KNOW IT … I PERSONALLY DONT THINK ITS A GOOD LOOK FOR HIM HIS AGE AND HE BLIND… THESE PEOPLE WORK ON HOURS LIKE 4 TO 6 HOURS A DAY JUST LEARNING THE ROUTINE AND SOME OF THEM STILL LOOK A MESS AND THEY IS IN GOOD AGE AND CAN SEE .. SO I DONT KNOW HOW THIS IS GOING TO PLAY OUT BUT I DONT WANT TO SEE IT AT ALL STICK TO THE WONDERFULL MUSIC YO UMAKE EVERYONE WANT TO DO SO MANY DIFFERENT THING SIGER WANNA ACTORS AND ACTRESS CONFUSED INDIVIUDALS
If Stevie wants to he will! The 4 to 6 hours of learning a dance is nothing to a performer that strides for perfection. Although it is noted that he is blind, Stevie’s other senses makes up for the lost of his sight. There was the gal the was blind and won Ice Skating championship. I have seen an 8 year old with one arm and no legs show in equestrain event. Dancing is NO exception. Please Stevie you go for it… I definitely be one of your biggest fans…..
