Former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight is giving more life to the speculation that Tupac Shakur isn’t dead. Suge was a guest last week on Los Angeles’ 93.5 KDay where he said the rap icon was never shot and killed in 1996. Knight points out that no one has actually seen “Tupac dead,” adding that he paid three-million dollars to a man to cremate the rapper, but never heard from the guy again.
Tupac’s image returned this month as a hologram during Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s Coachella set.
Suge tells TMZ that he didn’t appreciate the fact that Tupac’s image wasn’t wearing his customary Death Row Records chain.
Suge goes on to compare removing Tupac’s necklace to “taking the Raiders symbol off the Raiders.”
