The suspect in the murder of Atlanta rapper Slim Dunkin will remain behind bars.
The “Atlanta Journal-Constitution” is reporting that Vinson Hardimon was denied bond during a hearing on Tuesday. Hardimon, who goes by the name Young Vito, was returned to the Fulton County Jail on murder and gun possession charges.
Hardimon is suspected of shooting and killing Slim Dunkin, whose real name is Mario Hamilton, at an Atlanta recording studio on December 16th.
Witnesses have told authorities that the altercation started over a piece of candy.
Slim Dunkin was laid to rest last month, with fellow rappers Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame paying for the majority of his funeral.
